Character Actor Head Shots: Rich Goranson

One of my favorite sessions is always actor head shots. I have been photographing actors for over 20 years. Nothing brings me more joy than to host an actor session. I love to create the perfect head shot for an actor’s career journey. I was exceptionally blessed to have a return subject, Rich Goranson. Rich has been a test model for me in the past and one of his images has been in several artist exhibits.

Rich and his wife (the lovely Michelle) are leaving our fair community, and Rich made one last appointment with me right before the big move. I consider Rich a character actor and we had quite a fun session. We ran through some of his favorite characters’ lines in order to get a great selection of facial expressions. Since his new flat is a mere three blocks from a “Shakespeare in the Park” venue, I’m sure we’ll see the next production featuring his name.
